Growing and eating your own food is also extremely satisfying - you'll know where your vegetables are from and what's gone into producing them. Allotment sites are communities of people with shared interests. You will be able to meet new people, make new friends and get involved in the life of an allotment site by sharing seeds, produce and gardening tips.
